Lacrosse Team Starts Practice ‘The UMass Way’
Minutemen get action underway on Friday at Garber Field.

AMHERST, Mass. — The UMass men’s lacrosse team began its 2011 season practice on the coldest day of winter thus far on Friday. With snow banks piled several feet high all around, Greg Cannella led his Minutemen on to Garber Field to begin preparation for another year of action. Check out this video featuring Will Manny, Ryan Hantverk, Casey Rahn and Tim McCormack along with Cannella, in his 17th season at the helm of his alma mater.
