Clinics will focus on positional skills and drills to prepare players for their upcoming seasons
DENVER – The University of Denver men’s lacrosse program will hold a series of evening clinics beginning on Monday, August 24 to Thursday, August 27 at the Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Each session will run from 6–8:30 p.m. and is open to children grades third through eighth.
The clinics focus on positional skills and drills to prepare players for their upcoming season and are directed and overseen by legendary head coach Bill Tierney. Counselors include assistant coaches Trevor Tierney and Matt Brown, along with DU players.
These clinics are for youth beginner to advanced level players. Using drills, skills and techniques inspired from all Coach Tierney’s coaching for his college teams, we will be teaching young players the fundamentals that it takes to be a great player.
Cost for participants is $150 per player and includes a free instructional DVD that covers the skills and drills taught during each clinic. For more information please contact Matt Brown at (303) 871-4347 or by email at matthew.t.brown@du.edu.
